Vertical Breaks.
|
|
Horizontal Breaks.
|
|
Text can be very monotonous and tiring for the eyes,
so you can use an upright coloured bar to break up the pattern (You
make a table with more columns than usual, and make a background in
one of them)
Or, make a coloured background in one of the columsn
|
These are not easy to do in web design html coding.
You can use a 'typed break' (as above) or you have to make a very
narrow GIF picture of the correct colour, then import it into your
page as an image |
|
A page can be made more interesting by the inclusion of photographs
and other visual images (cartoons, diagrams, etc) Word Wrap will
normally be used so that the text flows around the visual parts
of the design
